The goal of NATZARDS is to:

- gather, generate and transfer Natural Hazards knowledge

- build an Information and Communication space

- identify, network, and coordinate the multiple research efforts

- leverage these multidisciplinary efforts with other activities.

EUROPEAN NATURAL HAZARDS KNOWLEDGE THINK-TANK AND RISK MANAGEMENT PLATFORM (NATZARDS) provides the organisation and financial support required for a practical and effective platform and for the awareness and spreading activities at European level. The several networking actions and workshops throughout Europe of NATZARDS supports collaboration and networking activities of EU researchers internationally and enables synthetics vision papers, guidelines and recommendations to be elaborated. NATZARDS consortium consists of a leading academic/companies from different countries that are well recognized for their broad expertise in different areas of natural hazards and risk and crisis management and threat education, awareness, prevention and mitigation.
